Amazon doesn’t just flub the prices of books, it happens a great deal with their other merchandise, too. My most recent memory is of infant car seats listed for $80 or more less than competitors. Some people got their seats as ordered, some people got emails expressing regrets, and some people got a canceled order without anything else. I know this has happened at least 5 times for car seats alone, and I would bet it’s a common occurrence across the board.

I just went and looked at it. I assumed it was fiction about a “strumpet”. BAHAHAHAHAHA What a deal for the download too. I will be getting it because I need all the help I can get on writing sex scenes. Reading & doing I’m okay with.

Oh, by the way, I’m going to be getting a copy of Demon Possessed as part of a book/blog tour this month and they are letting me give away a copy too. SOOO cool.

Ha, yeah, fun and lightness might be good. I’ve got a ton of stuff on my plate, too–stuff I neglected a bit last week–so I probably won’t be doing the big long blog posts this week. But we’ll see.

The Strumpet series isn’t fiction, though. It’s a series of blog posts I did about writing sex scenes. So, non-fiction, in the sort of writing how-to category. It was a lot of fun to do, and I had a lot of requests to format it as a book/ebook, so hopefully those people will be glad it’s available now.

I think I could go with not serious this week. Really, just one week of fun and lightness I have a friend who’s been trying to get me to use LuLu for a couple of years now for my nonfiction stuff (herbs, gardening) and I just haven’t gotten my butt in gear to try it out. She has used them for several books. It will be interesting to see how it works for fiction. That didn’t occur to me…I’m a little slow at times. BAHAHAHA

So, Amazon seems to be setting records in pissing people off in 2010. Hmmm…maybe they should rethink some things. Off to Check out Bleeding Cool…
